Bass Vocals Composer
Donald Iceman Weston (AKA: Kuam Mukum) was the oldest and most experience musician in Wadadli Experience band when he joined. A resident of the Point community, Iceman was a member of Hells Gate Steel Band and he learned allot of standard music after years of playing in the Hotels

Iceman status in the group when he arrived was imminent, and Kumasi knew It from the start even though he never heard him play. Jaga Martin, a cousin of Kumasi, was playing bass for a short while, so before Jaga left, he promised to send a bass player to replace him.
Kumasi asked him "Is he good," and Jaga replied ya man! He's one of his students, and he was confident he could do the job. Iceman turned up the next day riding a bicycle and had his hair plat similar to that of Cabu when he first joined the band.
It was during the conversation that ensued the guys learned that he was not just Jaga's student, he was his roommate, and they were both living together for a while. It was Jaga who taught Iceman to read and write music, so he knew he was okay.
Iceman became Kumasi deputy, and It didn't take long before he started growing dreadlocks and assimilating to the architectural culture in the band. He did not have an African name like most of the guys, and one day at the band house he announced to the group that his Rasta name is "Kuam Mukum."
Iceman was a blessing in disguised bestowed on Wadadli, and it would take a little time before the guys realized It. Although he has his share, he did not attract all the girls and had the swag and sway like the leading singers, and apart from being the Bass player, very little is known about him.
Everyone knew the famous and popular guys and the role they played in the band, but most people don't do that Isman is a walking reservoir of musical knowledge and experience that sustained and kept the group alive on its journey. His contribution to the band is Immensurable.
The band could not get and retain a job playing in the hotels if Iceman weren't there, for it was he who incorporated standard music in the band's Itinerary and taught the musicians how to play them. If you've never seen or heard, you will never that Iceman is a well-schooled pan player, Calypso singer, and music composer.
Iceman and Kumasi started taking music lessons after they were offered an opportunity by a music teacher from New Zealand, Mrs. Elizabeth Coghan. She was a well trained professional Classical pianist teaching at Princess Margaret Hight school; the guys used to call her Miss Bet.
Iceman and Kumasi attended her classes for over three years before she repatriates back to New Zealand. Iceman and Kumasi went on to become music arrangers and producers; Iceman wrote arranged and produced music that won Calypso and Panorama competition.
